The National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI)
The National Youth Council of Ireland is the representative body for voluntary youth organisations in Ireland. Established in 1967 through the coming together of the principal voluntary youth organisations. NYCI was set up to represent the interests of young people and youth organisations and continues to do this right up to the present day. NYCI's role is recognised in legislation (Youth Work Act) and as a Social Partner.

Congress Youth Committee (ICTU YC)
Congress Youth Committee aims to protect the rights of young workers on a National level, through awareness of their legal entitlements in the workplace, and the promotion of Trade Union membership, the Union of Secondary Students works with the Congress Youth committee on many issues of common concern.

Office of the Minister for Children (OMC)
The OMC will focus on harmonising policy issues that affect children in areas such as early childhood care and education, youth justice, child welfare and protection, children and young people's participation, research on children and young people and cross-cutting initiatives for children. The OMC will support the Minister for Children.

Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL)
The Irish Council for Civil Liberties (An Chomhairle um Chearta Daonna) is an independent non-governmental organisation that works to promote and defend human rights and civil liberties. It was founded in 1976 by, among others, Mary Robinson, Kader Asmal and Donal Barrington.

Union of Students in Ireland (USI)
The Union of Student in Ireland is the sole national representative body for students in Ireland. Founded in 1959, USI now represents more than 250,000 students in over forty colleges across Ireland. USI also helped the second level students of Ireland in the establishment of USS in 2001.
