National Unions of Students in Europe (ESIB)
ESIB - the National Unions of Students in Europe is the umbrella organisation of 50 national unions of students from 37 countries and through these members represent over 11 million students.

The Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions (OBESSU)

OBESSU is the European platform of national school student organisations and unions, active in general secondary and secondary vocational education. It was founded in April 1975 in Dublin, Ireland and brings together member and observer organisations from more than 25 European countries.

The Irish Council for International Students (ICOS)
The Irish Council for International Students (ICOS) aims to enhance the quality and the benefits of international education in Ireland by providing expert support services to international students, to host institutions and to government, and by actively promoting good policy and practice at all levels in relation to the recruitment and support of international students.

National Union of Students UK (NUS)
Founded in 1922, today NUS represents five million students across the UK, providing them with a united voice, excellent benefits and helpful research and information.

English Secondary Students Association (ESSA)

ESSA is working to become the representative body for secondary students in England. It aims to support students in expressing their views about education by providing workshops and a network of support with other secondary school students.

Council of Europe
The Council of Europe is an intergovernmental organisation which aims:

  • to protect human rights, pluralist democracy and the rule of law;
  • to promote awareness and encourage the development of Europe's cultural identity and diversity;
  • to seek solutions to problems facing European society (discrimination against minorities, xenophobia, intolerance, environmental protection, human cloning, Aids, drugs, organised crime, etc.);
  • to help consolidate democratic stability in Europe by backing political, legislative and constitutional reform.

European Union
The European Union (EU) is a family of democratic European countries, committed to working together for peace and prosperity.
