The Union of Secondary Students has grown rapidly since its foundation in 2001 to a membership of over 47,000 students. The USS is the third organisation of its kind to be set up in
For Theses reasons it is the vision of this years board to, for the first time ever take a vision of the long term development of the organisation. Where will the USS be in 10, 20 years time? What do we have to do now to ensure the survival, growth and development of the USS?
These are the types of questions the IDC will be looking at, and working on resolutions towards.
There are many things the IDC will be looking at:
Þ
Our Constitution
Þ
Our Legal Standing
Þ
Internal Structures
Membership of the IDC:
The members of this commission consist of people who have extensive experience within NGO’s, the USS and people who have wide-ranging knowledge of the USS as an organisation as well as a number of the National Board Members.
